123 Chant d’Espérance Français CDF: En Christ seul est mon espérance
Confiance et Assurance
1
En Christ seul est mon espérance;
Sa justice est mon assurance.
Il est devant Dieu mon appui;
Je n’en veux point d’autre que lui.
Refrain
Jésus est ma retraite sûre,
Le Rocher en qui je m’assure. (bis)
2
Tout autre asile est périssable,
Tout autre appui n’est que du sable.
Qui n’a passé ce fondement
Travaille et souffre vainement.
3
Lorsque sur moi s’abat l’orage,
Sa croix ranime mon courage.
Quand tout faiblit autour de moi,
Sa presence soutient ma foi.
4
Et quand la dernière tempête
Fondra, terrible, sur ma tête,
Comme lui, vainqueur de la mort,
J’entrerai radieux au port.
